Toastmasters and Garden Day
Yesterday was a day filled with inspiration, connection, and growth—both personal and in my garden!
The morning kicked off with an electrifying Toastmasters Area Speech Contest for Division O. The energy in the room was as radiant as the sun shining outside! There’s something magical about gathering in person, seeing familiar faces, and meeting new ones. In a world where virtual meetings have become the norm, the warmth of real smiles and the power of face-to-face encouragement made this event even more special.
A huge congratulations to all the winners! Your hard work, dedication, and passion shined brightly, and I can’t wait to see you advance to the next level. To every participant—you stepped up, you challenged yourselves, and you delivered. That is a victory in itself. A heartfelt thank you to all the functionaries and attendees who made this contest a resounding success. In District 56, where our members matter most, you all truly rocked the stage!
After an exhilarating day of speeches and celebrations, I found solace in a different kind of growth—my new garden! While I was immersed in the contest, my amazing hubby was hard at work, creating a beautiful space for fresh beginnings. And what better way to end the day than with a little plant shopping? Meet my newest additions: the parsley, collard, and fresh spinach families. These greens are not just plants; they represent nourishment, patience, and the joy of nurturing something from the ground up.
From powerful speeches to planting seeds of growth—yesterday was a day to remember. Here’s to continuous learning, blooming friendships, and gardens full of life!
